Nationwide Remote Connectivity Rollout

The challenge

A government agency required a secure, centrally managed remote connectivity solution across thousands of geographically dispersed sites — spanning field offices, satellite branches, and campus locations throughout the country. All transmitted data had to be secured to protect critical government information from interception and unauthorized access.

What we deployed

Deployed 2,000+ Sophos RED (Remote Ethernet Devices) units to establish encrypted, plug-and-play SD-WAN tunnels from every remote site back to central headquarters. Complemented with 35 Sophos Enterprise and Campus Edge firewall appliances to anchor the core network, enforce policy, and provide unified management.

Outcome

Delivered a unified, centrally managed remote connectivity fabric spanning thousands of government sites — enabling secure, encrypted tunnels for every branch with zero on-site IT expertise required at remote locations.
